How Cúnamh receives and spends donations...


Cúnamh is part funded by TUSLA. We also rely greatly on support we receive from our donors by way of our Annual Appeal letter. In addition we hold fundraising events such as Flag Days, Table Quizzes, Cycling Events and other activities in order to raise funds for Cúnamh. Our staff also support and participate in these events and give generously of their own time. Volunteers who assist in this charitable work do not receive any payment.


Down through our One Hundred Year history and into modern times, the funds raised have been used solely to provide the range of adoption and related services offered directly by Cúnamh. Salaries are kept in line with HSE guidelines for all management and staff. All salary related expenditure is controlled by a volunteer Executive Committee the members of which do not receive any remuneration. In addition operational expenses are monitored and overseen on a monthly basis by the above Committee.


At the end of each calendar year our accounts are audited by a qualified and independent auditor. The accounts are submitted to The Health Services Executive.
